News
Paprika Live Action Movie in the works.  Here's the opening to the animated counterpart.  Do you guys think it will work as a live action movie? I sure hope so.

Also, watch Paprika the anime.  This is not negotiable. 

Bleach Live Action Movie - Warner Bros is in talks to acquire movie rights for manga.  This movie will have the biggest swords this side of a Final Fantasy game.  Also, if you're wondering, my bankai is huge, just so you know.  It can talk, too.

Aniplex to release Gurren Lagann movies on DVD.  Excellent.  I was just thinking about how I wanted to be charged up the wazoo for content that I've mostly already bought on DVD.  I say that now, but when the eventual blu-ray release is released, I'll be first in line.  To the Bandai website, I guess, as they aren't releasing the discs anywhere else. 

iPhone prototype leaked  I think Jon Stewart had the best take on this whole debacle, so you'd be better off listening to him.   

Nintendo 3DS announced.  It will come in red and more red.

KFC Double Down.  It's just a matter of time before this gets combined with the KFC bowl. And that will be the end of civilization.  It's what the Mayan's predicted.  For more food porn, go to thisiswhyyourefat.com.

NHL and Anime?  I for one am disappointed that they won't be adding big googly eyes to the pucks during regulation games.

"Street Fighter: The Complete History."  Conspicuously absent from this book:  Jackie Chan.  You had to know I'd go there.  That's my go-to clip.  Speaking of which, has anyone heard anything about the live action City Hunter tv series that was going to be made?  Last I heard, Fox optioned it but since it doesn't involve teenagers that sing from the heart into autotuned microphones, it may have fallen by the wayside.

Eeeper's Choice and Kung Fu Flicken - Eeeper, if you're taking recommendations, the original Drunken Master would be a nifty choice for a Kung Fu movie to review. If you want to continue with the Kamikaze theme, Dane turned me on ... to Kamikaze Taxi and that is an excellent film as well.  I recommend everyone here check it out if they get a chance.

Anime Pacific  - I've been intrigued by the Summer Wars debate that has gone on during the last few episodes of Anime Pacific, and am going to try watching the movie tomorrow to see on which side of the divide I end up sitting.  However, I'm starting to worry a little about my taste in anime as I watched Odin last week and kinda liked it. 

Spiraken Manga Review  - Congrats on 100 episodes Xan!  That's a lot of spinning your wheel!  That was lame.  I apologize.
